This past Saturday at the University of Nairobi, something powerful happened — something deeper than a conversation and bigger than an event. We didn’t just talk about mental health; we saw it, felt it, and experienced it together.

What began as a simple gathering quickly grew into a vibrant, open space where students could breathe, share, and be heard. The room buzzed with energy, honesty, and relief—the kind that comes when people realize they’re finally in a place where they don’t have to pretend everything is okay.

Mental health can often feel like an invisible weight, carried quietly and alone. But on this day, that silence broke.
Students opened up about the challenges they face—academic pressure, loneliness, anxiety, identity struggles, and the search for balance in an increasingly demanding world.

With the help of our incredible partners—Beta Mentor, Premium Scholars, Equity Afia, and our dedicated support teams—we didn’t just listen. We shared tools, coping strategies, and pathways to real, actionable support. The discussions were raw, grounded, and uplifting, giving students room to be vulnerable while also empowering them with tangible ways to navigate life on campus.

92 New Ambassadors Join the Movement

One of the day’s greatest highlights was welcoming 92 new My Perfect Campus ambassadors.
These young leaders stepped forward with courage and commitment, determined to make their campuses safer, calmer, and more connected. They will serve as peer supporters, mental health champions, and bridges linking their fellow students to the help they need and deserve.

Each ambassador is now part of a growing movement to ensure no student ever has to walk through mental health struggles alone.
